Ridge Racer 64 is a racing game developed by Namco and Nintendo Software Technology for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. It features tracks from Ridge Racer and Ridge Racer Revolution and its very own set of desert tracks exclusive to the Nintendo 64. On the choose a car screen, Dig Racing Team, Pac Racing Club, Racing Team Solvalou and R.C. Micro Mouse Mappy from R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 is become available. Also it can be change the colors of the car instead of the normal colors.
In Ridge Racer 64, the traffic lights and screen has the same layout as R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, but the word "GO" is still used. The light blue color is replaced by a green color and the word "go" is in a different font.
Ridge Racer DS is a video game based on the Nintendo 64 version of Ridge Racer. The game was remade to make use of features on the DS such as the touch-screen and wireless multi-player while providing otherwise a very similar experience to its original counter-part. Noticeable differences are:
